Playa Linda Beach Resort Aruba is one of my favorite resorts on the island. The beachfront, timeshare property has been around for over thirty years and has a sense of charm many other resorts do not have.

Now it’s no secret there really isn’t a bad place to stay in Aruba. Almost all of the high rise and low rise hotels are along the exact same beach so sun and sand are plentiful and no matter where you stay, you’re going to get the same beach experience as other tourists.

But Playa Linda has one of the best locations because its located in front of all the tourist boutiques, shops, and restaurants in the high rise hotel area. It’s also nestled in between other respectable brands keeping you right in the mix of fun, sea, sand, and new friends. Everything is in walking distance and the beach is exactly what you’ve always dreamed of.

Playa offers a total of 214 suites, including studios, one-bedroom rooms, two-bedroom rooms as well as townhouse apartments and penthouse options. The townhouse apartments and penthouse options are perfect for a bridal party, a family reunion or a romantic getaway. Each suite provides modern comfort while maintaining its island charm. I’ve stayed at many beautiful hotels in my travels and Playa offers a sense of charm that makes you feel right at home even when you’re on vacation.

The units feature a fully-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and a balcony with perfect views. The property also offers self-serve laundry, two swimming pools, a hot tub, a fitness center, a restorative spa, a mini-market, and a balanced array of both dining and shopping options.

The Playa Linda was built in 1983 and has maintained its high-level standards by offering a wonderful vacation destination for all ages and has undergone a full renovation at about the time of its 25th year.

Not into timeshares? It’s okay, we aren’t either. We recently stayed at Playa for a few days and were able to make our reservations last minute to see what it was all about and my family loved the pool, location, and amenities. If rooms are available, you’ll still be able to make a reservation without owning a timeshare.
