Join Me at Camp Casey’s 4th Annual Gold Rush Gala
Camp Casey is a non-profit organization that provides horseback riding programs to children with cancer and rare blood disorders and it’s almost time for their annual fundraiser, the Gold Rush Gala.
This September 28, 2019, I and the rest of the Gold Rush Gala Committee members will throw the fourth annual event at the Fisher Building from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm as a celebration of Camp Casey’s most recent programming season and as a tribute to Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
In honor of the campers we have served and of families everywhere facing childhood illness, guests are encouraged to dress in gold. There are so many ways you can help us make this a successful event. First, we’d love to see you in attendance! Second, here are a few more ideas on how you can help:

Camp Casey’s mission is to provide safe and fun experiences for children and families affected by childhood cancer, sickle cell disease, and aplastic anemia through accessible horseback riding programs. They also offer “Horsey House Calls” giving surprise visits to children at home with their favorite four-legged friends and equine therapists.
I hope to see you at the year’s gala! It’s going to be a big yeehaw of a night!
