Dining at Julian Serrano’s Lago Restaurant in Las Vegas
One of the very best restaurants in Las Vegas, in my opinion, is Julian Serrano’s Lago in Las Vegas. Lago is Serrano’s first Italian restaurant but his third in the Vegas area after his award-winning French and Spanish locations. Serrano has the 15-year-old French restaurant Picasso at the Bellagio and his Spanish Tapas restaurant is at Aria.
Lago is a place to visit with someone you care about. It’s perfect for date night and a good choice for the family as well, especially if your family enjoys fine dining with great views. Whichever you choose, you won’t be disappointed at Lago.
I recently had the opportunity to have dinner at Lago with my family. Here is a photo of my daughter and me above. The Vegas views at Lago are gorgeous and we loved every minute of them! From the dining area, we were able to view Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, the Eiffel Tower, and the Bellagio fountains.
The Fountains of Bellagio show is every 30 minutes from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and every 15 minutes from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. On Sundays, the evening show begins at 7:00 p.m. and goes on every 15 minutes until midnight. On Saturdays and Holidays, the shows start at noon every 30 minutes and change to every 15 minutes from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. Trust me. This beautiful water fountain show truly does make your Lago experience extra special.
Lago is located at the Bellagio Hotel at 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. Plan on arriving hungry and sharing a few small plates to make sure you get to try all of your favorites! My favorite dishes include the Italian sausage with roasted red pepper sauce, the burrata with bell peppers and garlic oil, the cheese platter, roasted potatoes with rosemary, bruschetta, the filet, the one-pound ribeye to share, the asparagus, and cannelloni just to name a few. There is also an amazing wine list!
