Fashion Valley Shopping: San Diego
There’s so much to do in San Diego! Have you been? I’ve traveled there quite a few times and always look for an opportunity to go back. During a recent visit, I spent some quality time at Fashion Valley and shopped the day away. It’s definitely not a bad way to spend an afternoon when you’re in town.
Located at 7007 Friar’s Rd., Fashion Valley has more than 200 retail stores including international fashion houses like Hermès, Gucci, Prada, and Louis Vuitton and leading department stores like Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. The best part? It’s an outdoor mall and you can soak up the California sun while you shop! I agree, who wants to be in an indoor mall all day while on vacation? Better yet, while on vacation in California?! This is why I love it so much. I can shop my favorite stores and enjoy the nice weather.
Not only does Fashion Valley have great shops and stores, they have great restaurants available too! True Food Kitchen, Stacked and Blue Smoke Sushi Lounge, The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and California Pizza Kitchen are just a few available for dining.
Fashion Valley is a Simon property. Simon is a global leader in the ownership of premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations. Their properties are located across North America, Europe, and Asia. I haven’t been to all of them yet, but would love to put that idea on my bucket list.
