Fash Bash 2019: The Art of Fashion Supports the Detroit Institute of Arts
The Founders Junior Council, in collaboration with Neiman Marcus, is planning the return of Fash Bash 2019, an annual benefit for the Detroit Institute of Arts. Fash Bash will take place from 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., on Thu, Aug 15, 2019, at the DIA. Fash Bash, an annual summer celebration of fashion, art, and philanthropy is one of the DIA’s signature fundraisers. Fashion and art lovers as well some of Michigan’s top philanthropists are usually in attendance as it’s one of metropolitan Detroit’s premiere, fashionable social events that annually sells out.
Fash Bash starts off with an outdoor cocktail party at 6:30 p.m. followed by an “Art of Fashion” runway show at 7 p.m. in the DIA’s Great Hall and Rivera Court. There will be no high rise runway, the museum floor will serve as the show’s catwalk for over 40 professional models in hot Neiman Marcus apparel from the 2019 Fall collection.
And while the runway will showcase Neiman’s Fall collection, the stunning audience members are also part of the show. If you plan on attending, dress in your best after-five attire. Remember, anything goes and the chicest thing in your closet is a perfect choice. If you choose something that reflects your personal style, then you’re on the right track.
