After 12 long days...I beat #covid_19. Twelve days of severe body aches, headaches and a low grade fever. I have no idea where I got it. Just BAM, sick and down.

My symptoms were the worst at night. The body aches were so unbearable that I couldn’t sleep. And the headaches were quite severe. I had a low-grade fever of 99.5 & 99.8 that I could not get rid of so I alternated Tylenol and ibuprofen. Within 40 minutes of taking one or the other, I would sweat out the fever and feel better for a couple hours. Then, it came back. This is the only thing that gave me comfort. So in my opinion, people taking your temperature at their door and looking for 102 temp means absolutely nothing. To some people a temperature of 99 is not a fever, to me it’s just enough to feel bad.

Many people are texting and emailing me asking me what supplements I took... I took Vitamin D 3, Zinc and a whole lot of Vitamin C. I drank a ton of orange juice, @smartwater and @pedialyte. Bananas helped me take down the vitamins since I had little to no appetite.

My doctor prescribed an antibiotic to prevent me from getting pneumonia. Within the first week, I did have burning in my chest and was unable to take deep breaths but by day 9, that went away, thank God. I never had a cough. I never had a sore throat. I never had a runny nose. But the symptoms that I did have took me down. It was a very scary situation but I thank God every day for his love and support and for helping me fight this terrible virus.
